Cinematic Vault exists for people who still believe physical media is the real way to own a film. We're an independently run store built around one idea: your collection should be curated, not just accumulated.

Independent, by design

Cinematic Vault is not owned or operated by Criterion, Arrow Video, Vinegar Syndrome, Kino Lorber, or any other studio, label, or distributor. We're an independent retailer, full stop. That means our shelves aren't stocked to favor one supplier over another — we carry what earns a place in a serious collection, from any label doing the work right. If a title isn't good, we'll tell you, even if it's from a label we love.

What we carry

Every title in our catalog is chosen with collectors in mind — genre, cult, horror, and world cinema, alongside the boutique labels that define serious physical media collecting today: Criterion, Arrow Video, Vinegar Syndrome, Severin Films, Kino Lorber, Blue Underground, 88 Films, Synapse, Grindhouse Releasing, Cauldron Films, AGFA, VCI Entertainment, and Full Moon Pictures, among others. If a label has a reputation for doing right by a film — real restorations, real special features, packaging that respects the material — you'll find it here.

Why it matters

Streaming libraries change without warning. Films get pulled, re-edited, or simply vanish. A disc on your shelf doesn't. We stock new releases and pre-orders alongside out-of-print and limited editions, because we think the hunt for a hard-to-find title is part of what makes this hobby worth doing.

Our approach

We're small on purpose. That means we can pay attention to condition, pack orders carefully, and actually know what we're selling — instead of running a warehouse of undifferentiated inventory. If something in our catalog isn't accurately described, we want to hear about it.
