Vincent Price (May 27, 1911 – October 25, 1993) was an American actor whose mellifluous voice and theatrical elegance made him the undisputed king of horror. Over a career spanning five decades, Price delivered iconic performances in classics such as House of Wax, The Fly, The Masque of the Red Death, The Abominable Dr. Phibes, and the Roger Corman Edgar Allan Poe series. Beyond films, his narration on Michael Jackson's Thriller became one of pop culture's most memorable moments. Witty, sophisticated, and gloriously sinister, Vincent Price remains the gold standard of horror stardom.
