Daria Nicolodi
Daria Nicolodi (June 19, 1950 – November 26, 2020) was an Italian actress, screenwriter, and playwright who became an essential creative force in Italian horror cinema. Her partnership with director Dario Argento — both personal and professional — produced some of the genre's most enduring masterpieces, including Deep Red, Suspiria (which she co-wrote), Inferno, and Opera. Nicolodi brought an ethereal, intelligent intensity to her performances that elevated every project she touched. Beyond her work with Argento, she appeared in films by Mario Bava and Lamberto Bava, cementing her legacy as one of Italian horror's true luminaries.
